I’m a dyed-in-the-wool baseball fanatic, following the Philadelphia Phillies since their historic collapse in 1964. But my one published sports book is about tennis—Serious Tennis, with tennis pro Scott Williams as the main author. That work involved a thoroughly enjoyable trip to Flushing Meadows for the U.S. Open, where Scott seemed to know everyone personally. . . . I still hope to write a Christian devotional book for baseball fans.
