Culture

Culture is a big word with lots of meanings. When I use it, it means I’m fascinated with the ebb and flow of human communication, interaction, and art. Maybe we’re talking modern anthropology here. What are the principles and root assumptions of our lives, and how do these develop? What are the stories we tell and how do they bring ultimate meaning to our lives? I think every artist needs to consider these questions, as well as anyone who seeks to share Christian faith. This was what the apostle Paul did in Athens (Acts 17).
